Hello,

I am booked on the Canada and Rocky Mountaineer tour in September. There was only the gold leaf service available at a chunky price. I would like to know what to expect from this service.

Hi Dyuti,

You’ll be in a dual-level glass-domed coach that has reclining seats and an outdoor viewing platform. These are easy to spot from the outside, when compared to the single level silver leaf carriages. Gold leaf carriages have a dedicated dining room on the lower level but complimentary snacks and drinks are also served at your seat in the upper section. I’m led to believe that you stay in a better grade of hotel in the evening as well.

Whilst the upgrade is pricey, I think you’ll enjoy the experience and believe that it’s worth paying the extra..

Hope this helps.

Hi I have been trying to get an upgrade to gold leaf but they have told me it’s full. When did you book your holiday?
