My holiday in China exceeded all my expectations and the whole experience from start to finish was a delight. The group was very friendly and we were very well looked after. I should like to commend our Tour Manager Daniel for his organisation and care – he ensured that we all had a truly memorable holiday. It was my first Just You holiday and, like many others in the group, I was very nervous beforehand, but those feelings were soon dispelled as we all got to know one another. Thank you.

Terry

I would also appreciate some feedback from your holiday as I am thinking of doing the same trip with the Bejing and Xian add-on next year. I am particularly interested in the weather as I'm not sure what is the optimum time to travel to get the best of it. Many thanks

Dear Irene

Am thinking of doing the same trip and add on.

When are you thinking of going - have been advised March or Sept. is

more comfortable for travelling around.

This would be my first trip with Just you - although thinking of Brugges

for Christmas to try it out.

PAMELA - I've booked for September, both the main trip and the add-on. If you are taking a single traveller holiday for the first time, it is unnerving, I know, as I was in the same position this time last year. Mind you, I think I was more nerbous of Heathrow than anything else. In the event, H'row was a doddle, if a rather long walk! - the trip (to Jordan) was wonderful and an added bonus was that I made new friends. Have had 2 further JY holidays this year, both of which were great, and on which I was very lucky to add further to my circle of friends. You will, I'm sure, have a wonderful time

Hi Carol and Irene

I have just returned from Shanghai and Yangtze cruise with the add on. It was fantastic, bit tiring at times but well worth it. It was very hot most of the time. Temperatures were a little cooler in Bejing but certainly not cold. Had a bit of rain in Bejing. The whole tour was amazing, even had a rickshaw ride. I am sure you will both enjoy it.

Hi

I am considering booking a holiday but as everyone else I am a bit nervous about it.I am 55 and wonder if there will be others in this age range?.

China sounds very exciting although I may start with something closer to home.Do the groups mingle or does everyone head off and do their own thing.Wish I had booked somewhere for Christmas as it has been a bit of a damp squid this year!

Thanks Sue

Hi Patricia, this is my first Just You holiday too so it’s good to know I won’t be on my own!

I’m travelling down from Yorkshire, but, as it’s a late in the day flight, decided not to do the pre-holiday get together but fly down from Leeds during the day.

Looking at all the weather sites, I think it should be relatively warm in September – it looks like low 70s which’ll be just right for me. I did wonder about vaccinations too though, and thought I’d go and see the doctor nearer the time – I don’t think they’re compulsory, just advisable. Good to know someone else who’s going – I’m getting all excited now!

Cheers, Anne
