I finally took the plunge and booked Slovenia for August 1st.  Hoping to bump into a few people on the forum that might also have booked the same trip.  I am looking forward to all the included excursions, but also note we have two days currently unplanned.  I am quite keen to do one or two of the walks from the hotel into the surrounding mountains.  One of them I looked up says it takes around 3 hours which sounds ideal and the views look spectacular.  Hopefully I will find one or more others that are interested to do the same?
