Cindy, there are elephants - how about pygmy elephants in Borneo!

Bob, I'm so sorry to hear that the holiday creators are causing you issues for your 2016 holiday planning. The Tour Manager will not be on the Singapore add-on but there will be one of our local agents as a contact.

AnnF, depending on which date you are interested in, you may be staying at either the Hotel Parigi in Bordighera, the Hotel Vila Elisa in Bordighera or the Hotel Lolli Palace in San Remo

Julie - There aren't any all inclusive holidays but there are a number where many of the meals are still included.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia,

It's all good and I think I'll be able to do the May date for Borneo - with the add-on!

Cindy, the pygmy elephants are definitely a draw for Borneo - I've never seen one before and they must be beyond cute!

Well done to Alicia and the rest of the team for this great new range of holidays. I hope the ones I'm not able to do next year will be around for a long time to come so I can get to do them all in due course! I can but hope!!

All the best,

Bob

Hi Sally and Taffy and Hils

These new holidays are so exciting. Borneo and a summer Churchill trip. I can only hope that some of them will reappear in 2017.

Any idea Julia????

I will have to raid my piggy bank

I am really excited for you. You will have an amazing time in Borneo. I cannot believe that they have added Singapore on to this trip, a destination I wanted to go to since I was a child. I am going to talk sweetly to my boss to see if I can fit in another trip for next year. I am off to Vietnam and Cambodia for Christmas. My brother is 50 in February so we have booked to go to Egypt. Japan And Hong Kong in April and then Namibia in September. I wonder if they would notice at work in I sneak in a couple of weeks to Borneo. I might have to consider an early retirement.

Have a great birthday next week

Regards your Calm Air Pal x

Hi Calm Air Pal,

Remind me again - HOW many weeks holiday do you get?!!! Where did I go wrong - working for 40 years and only getting 4 weeks holiday! I haven't booked Namibia for September yet - have you? Brazil is on my list too - lucky you. There is quite a bit of interest in Borneo, that's why I booked yesterday. I'm in the process of part exchanging some of my camera gear so I can buy a BIG lens!

Thanks for the birthday wishes - at my age, it will be a quiet one!!

Cheers,

Hils x

Hi Julia / Alicia

Will Borneo be on offer for 2017? Not sure if I can either fit in or afford a 3rd long haul next year as have already booked 2 long hauls. At this rate, I have absolutely no idea when or if I am ever going to fit in China, Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Silk Road etc etc. I need to find a rich man pronto!!

Hello Hils

I know I am a lucky girl.

I haven't booked Namibia yet I was waiting to get my holiday out of the way. I might need to book Borneo this weekend before I go as it appears to be really popular. I will probably book for June. (I have a very understanding boss)

You will have to keep me updated on your camera purchase

Regards

I did Borneo back in 2006 and can promise you all are in for a real treat. I'm very tempted by the Arctic Summer in Churchill - another chance to try and see those pesky Polar Bears (near bears not far ones this time!)

Hi Churchill friends - Hils, Julie, Taffy, Sally - just booked Borneo for May - will get to meet you too Bob! How exciting - pleased the holiday seems to concentrate on the wildlife too - just returned from Sri Lanka - where I had the amazing opportunity of bathing and scrubbing a full grown elephant with half a coconut shell - whilst I was standing knee deep in a river!. Have also booked the add on - stopped off in Singapore for a few days in 2010 en route to Australia. It is a great city and so easy to get around - missed out on the "casino boat" on top of the towers last time so will be heading there, also the night safari, and of course a return visit to Raffles for another Singapore Sling!

Will wait for the brochure before making any more decisions………...

Booked the Bronte Country although confused at the walking part to either the Railway Children or Haworth and Bronte. Do you not do both on the same day? Maybe I read it wrong. Also why did I have to pay the whole amount when it is not till June?

When does the new brochure come out?

Hi montypuddephatt,

The new brochure should be with you this week!!! The Land of the Dragon (southern China) has been discontinued due to a lack of bookings, we are now looking at a new Tibet tour to replace this for 2016/2017.

I hope this helps.

Hi Janib,

On day 3, there’s the choice of 2 walks, both being approximately 6 miles in length. Walk 1 is the Railway Children circular walk around the outskirts of Haworth, passing railway stations of Keighley & Worth Valley before heading back to Haworth. Walk 2 is the Bronte Way where customers will see the Bronte Waterfalls and the rock shaped chair. The walk continues to Top Withens before returning to Haworth.

In regards to your payment, thank you very much for alerting us to this issue. It was an error our end, and you should have been able to pay a deposit. Sorry for this - the problem has been resolved for any one else who is booking this holiday.

Kindest regards,

Monty

When you say a new Tibet tour do you mean Tibet on its own? Did Land of the Dragon in May with Tibet add-on, think it might have been the only group that went this year, would love to see a lot more of Tibet.

wow wow wow this Borneo seems really popular, Moderator looking at the itinerary for this tour am I right in believing that there is an afternoon in Singapore before the flight home, however I would most likely book the add on also if I can, decisions may have to be made soon
