I am just wondering what kind of feedback JY have had as yet from their use of the new hotel (THB Sur) for this trip?  Also if you are planning to use the same hotel next year?

I haven't seen any reviews yet, and looking on T.A the hotel looks a bit isolated, and no sign of any beach.   :huh:

The nearest beach is about a 15 minute walk away.

Vicki, how far is it to travel from airport to hotel? Also, what is the area like, quiet or busy?

The hotel is in a quiet fishing village so perfect for a relaxing holiday. It is situated on a rocky promontory with access point to the sea, a pool and gorgeous sea views (all rooms have balcony and sea views).

It's approximately 45 minutes from the airport.
