I've just got back from Florida and our first two nights were spent at the Regal Oaks Resort. I have noticed that the first two nights for 2016 tours are now showing a different hotel. I think it would be a real shame for next years passengers to miss out on the houses with hot tubs and it was the nicest place we stayed by far and was in a good location. Why has it been changed?.

Hi Alison,

Due to initial poor feedback from our customers regarding Regal Oaks, we decided to change the accommodation. This is a perfect example of how important your feedback is to us, so I have passed your comment on to the Holiday Creator.

Kindest regards,

Monty

Thanks. I'm puzzled why they wouldn't like this place. We were able to walk into town from here and there was a little fairground, loads of places to eat and shops.

Hi Monty

I've just got back Regal Oaks after having a TS holiday there as a single traveller for 7 nights where you 'do your own thing'. I can only commend the superb accommodation and my feedback to TS indicated that it would have been even better to go for longer say 10 nights. Security on the gate was brilliant felt very safe in the 2 bed house by myself. I would have no hesitation in rebooking this holiday at Regal Oaks in the future.

Gillian, did you get a lift home in one of the little hotel buggies?. If you didn't want to walk back to your house late at night the friendly reception staff gave you a free lift to your door!

I think I only used them once when they took me and my next door neighbours

(also on same holiday) to our houses as we had just got there the luggage had been delivered to our houses prior to this and when we were ready to go they took us on the buggy. I personally didn't use it again although the couple next door did many times as they were in their mid 70s and the lady was not very mobile. A few times when I was walking the buggy would slow down and offer me a lift but I thanked them and waved them on. Can I add that although checkout was 10.00 am and we weren't being picked up until 3.00 we didn't ask the hotel for an extension but the manageress came and found us the night before and said we could checkout when we wanted free of charge. That meant we could stay around the pool and freshen up before departure.

I had a great time at this complex. It's really nice of them to let you check out whenever you wanted. We stopped off to drop a passenger off on our way back to the airport and they let 26 of us use their toilet even though we weren't staying there. They were really helpful and it's such a shame it's been removed.
