I went two years ago and I loved this trip. You will enjoy your night on the houseboat. Although you are travelling around a lot I still found this holiday quite relaxing.

Not prepared fully yet. Have still got to apply for E-Visa - apparently can only apply 34 days in advance! Really looking forward to the trip though.

Julie, I am counting the days and fingers crossed all will go well. Just wondering if the luggage will be checked right through or do we have to collect at Mumbai and recheck for the internal flight?

Luggage is checked straight through to Cochin on way to Kerala and to Heathrow for return flight. You are given boarding passes for both flights.

I can confirm that your weight allowance for this trip is 23kg, including internal flights. This checked in once, so you will only see it again once you arrive in Cochin International Airport.
