Hi Julia,

I'm very excited to see the TS Tanzania tour is now on the website! I wouldn't be doing this for a couple of years, seeing as I'm booked for Namibia next year but I am definitely interested in doing it. A couple of questions, probably for Will or some of his team to answer: There is currently no single supplement price quoted. I presume single travellers can do this holiday, so what will the supplement be? Is it likely that JY will be offering this holiday further down the road? There also seems to be a mistake in the description of the holiday - underneath the title it says "have a picnic lunch at Ngorongoro crater" but this isn't mentioned in the itinerary and seeing as the tour stays at Selous, I presume it doesn't visit Ngorongoro as it would be too far away?

But well done to TS for re-introducing this tour. Zanzibar sounds very interesting and a lovely place to relax and explore in after all the excitement of the game drives!

All the best,

Bob

Hi Bob,

Due to the small amount of rooms available at the lodges used on the Travelsphere Tanzania tour, we are unable to offer it to solo travellers at the moment. That said, the team are looking to expand the Africa programme of holidays for Just You over the next couple of years. In fact - as you know, Will and his team always listen to where our community are interested in travelling so if there are any other African destinations you would like to see in the brochure on top of Tanzania, now is a REALLY good time to tell us.

Thanks for pointing out the Ngorongoro mention. This was part of the old itinerary (from back in 2010) which was unfortunately pulled through in our database when the new dates were added. I've had this removed.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia (and Will),

Many thanks as always for your helpful response! So following on from your request, as well Tanzania, I'd really like to see Ethiopia (especially the Simien Mountains) and Morocco. Tunisia could also be interesting if it were to be a tour of the country, rather than a sun-based holiday. I've already been to Egypt twice! The Kenya tour would interest me if you didn't have to share rooms on safari and the Mombasa part doesn't really appeal so much. So I really hope JY are able to offer Tanzania further down the road. I've already been to South Africa and Zambia with JY, which back in 2011 included trips to Swaziland and Botswana as well and I've Namibia booked for next year - so excited as this is a country I've wanted to visit for a long time! Thanks to JY I'm fulfilling so many of my travel dreams!

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Julia

Just to say that i had an amazing trip to Tanzania a few years ago with another company, and can thoroughly recommend Tanzania as a destination. The Selous is a stunning safari stop. My trip included the Ruaha, the rainforest and the Highlands so I didn't manage to get to Zanzibar. I'm sure your customers will love the experience.

I've been looking at a tour of Tunisia which Cosmos currently does. It's not high on my agenda but if JY were to do something similar I would be very interested.

Ethiopia sounds interesting.
