Hi Al5694

Age is just a number! Hope you find a travel company to suit your age and wish you all the best for the future but, I personally feel that you will be missing out by thinking that you are too young to travel with Just You.

Regards

Jaya

Just back from my first Just You tour - really enjoyed it.

I went on Magical Mallorca tour - my review should be posted soon, so I won't go over the same ground.

First time I've done anything like this since Mrs Chris13 passed away nearly seven years ago so I was a bit apprehensive about embarking on anything like this.

My Just You experience has been very positive and highly recommended. I chose Majorca as it was familiar to me having had some great family holidays there before. This tour introduced me to some new places.

Having been with Just You and finding it exceeded my expectations I look forward to exploring new places with them in the near future.

Thanks for a great time and for giving me the taste for travelling again. Anyone about to embark on their first tour should have no fears.

Hi. Nervous first timer and I'm thinking of going to Tuscany, Apulia or Calabria in September if anything is still available by the time I pluck up the courage.  Anyone been or going, not sure which to choose as all sound good.

Hello. I am also a very nervous first timer and am thinking of booking Highlights of Tuscany 8 September if I can find the courage to do so!!!

I need a beach holiday but I'm a bit nervous about going on my own. My travel dates would be in September and I just want some advice from people on where to go and what to expect on one of these holidays. I want a bit of everything including some me time. Any help please

Hi

Suggest you look at the escape range of holidays as they may offer you the pace of holiday you want. Have not done any of these myself as,I prefer a touring holiday. Once you choose a holiday, search in the review section as someone who has already been on the trip may have posted a review.

Hope this helps

Hi Andy

My advice would be to look on the Escape section & see which tours are still available in September eg Catalonia, Andalucia or any others that you like the sound of. These holidays have a mixture of both relaxation & excursions, so there is plenty of time to mix with the group & have your 'me time', plus you all meet up for an evening meal.

Hope this is of some help with booking a JY holiday

Hi Andy68

I have just booked my first holiday with JustYou, and like you my thoughts were a beach holiday in September. I went for Sun-kissed Sardinia from 19th, as there are some excursions included and me time. Hopefully this taster will go well, and I shall be looking at some more further flung destinations in the future.

Hi everyone, I've just joined in view of booking something a bit last minute! Just wondering what sort of sizes the groups are, and age ranges? I'm looking at maybe Sardinia or Andalucia - lucky for me I have some flexibility before I start full time work in October! Thanks 🙂

Hi Carysannie29

Welcome to JY and the Forum.  Age ranges are quite wide as a generality from 30's to 80's but you can ask on the Forum for a particular tour.  Similarly groups size is around 30, some larger, some smaller depending on the trip.  Again you can ask on the Forum for a particular trip.  Use the Ask Your editor facility.

Hope you find a holiday you fancy and have a great time.

Hi Carysannie

There is a wide age range and the group size can vary according to which holiday you book. You can always ask this question in the 'Editor Section' once you decide where you want to go. I have been to Andalucia and it is a lovely destination. As for age, why worry as it is just a number!

Hello,

can I ask what the age group for these holidays is. I am 32 and was thinking about booking a Spain trip in May 2017. Do you think there will be any people in their 30s and 40s?

thanks,

Maggie

Hi Maggie, the age range on JY tours is from 20s - 80s with the majority being in the 55-75 age group.  So there may be some younger folks on a tour and there may not be.  You can put up a post on the "Ask your Editor" forum and ask for the stats for your particular tour departure date if you would like to know.  There are also numerous threads on the Forum as a whole dealing with the whole age issue - have a look at them but they are all pretty much saying the same thing!  That is to say, the age range doesn't really matter as everyone mixes well together.  I'm younger than the average - mid 40s - and have always found some like minded people to mix with while on holiday, some have been around my own age and some a good bit older.  Go for it, you have nothing to lose!

All the best,

Bob

I Maggie

I'm 31 and taking the plunge with JY going to Sun Kissed Sardinia next month, Bit nervous as its my first trip solo, and have similar concerns about being the only one of that age bracket. But i'm determined to just enjoy the holiday and go with it - it's going banish the prospect of being about and eating out alone and then having to pay the single supplement, and saves cash for the next one which for me would be the Basque country tour in Spain in April / May.

Hi Chris

There is no need to be concerned about your age bracket - age is just a number after all! Go with an open mind and you will have no problems if you get on with people of all ages. I rather travel with people of varied ages as it makes it more interesting. Everyone has different experiences of life and you do learn a lot. Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your first experience travelling with Just You.

I have just booked my first holiday with Just You.  Going to Croatia's Istrian Coast on the 5 October from Heathrow.  Would like to hear from anyone going on this holiday especially if it is their first trip with JY. 😉

Well done for booking your first JY tour. You might get more of a response if you put the tour date and name in a posting on a new thread in the main section

Or perhaps the moderators can move this for you

Hi All,

I have just returned from my first Just you holiday in France. It was fabulous! I was very nervous as I didn't know what to expect. We were so looked after. The tour guide (Lyn) was brilliant, she really made the holiday for us. I made lots of new friends. The hotel was exceptional. Luckily the weather was on our side and it was beautiful. This was my dream holiday to Monet's Garden and I was not disappointed!

Anyway if your thinking of taking the plunge, think no more, just book!

:)

I am going on my first holiday on my own and must admit rather nervous to.  It was nice to read your message and it has given me assurances that all will be well.   😉

Hi there,

Just returned from the 'National Parks of the USA' tour (14-29 Sept). I heard some good things about this forum so I'm joining up in the hope of keeping in touch with a few of the folk I met.  I/We had a fabulous trip, so I'm looking forward to some more in the near future.

Cheers,

Roger

Nervous first timer and I'm thinking of getting away on my own for a change as normally i get a friend to come with me as its almost same price for two over just one but it gets expensive if you have to pay for that other person,so to save money need to start going on my own not very well traveled so have no idea where to go on my first holiday on my own and also not looking forward to it, i am on a budget i only really spend around £650 for two and thats all incl with flights, so if anyone can help me here that would be great.
