I have been travelling with JY since 2010 and have enjoyed both long haul and european holidays. I have a very long wish list of places to visit and am working my way through it.

I chose to jump in at the deep end and go to China for my first holiday with JY. As I live in Scotland this involved a flight to Heathrow and a change of terminal! I was very nervous when I set out and almost turned back on the way to Edinburgh Airport.! So glad I didn't as it was a great holiday and I met lots of interesting people.

I still get a bit apprehensive but soon relax when I arrive at my destination.

MY advice is book your chosen holiday. Italy is a favourite of mine and I am off to Sicily in September.

Look in the review section of the forum as there are recent reviews of this holiday.

I have not done this holiday but I know it is a popular destination with good reviews.

It's natural to be nervous the first time you travel on your own, but Gatwick is a really easy airport to move around, and if you pin your JY label to your hand luggage you will most likely meet some of your fellow travellers prior to getting on the plain. Travelling with JY is a safe and fun way to travel - so go for it. I am sure you will have an amazing time.

Welcome to JY, have a look at the review section this is a very popular tour!! One that I have been on a few years a go, it's not to hectic, lovely days out with much to see and do, hotel room do vary so just be aware of this,you will have a great time so book it.....

Hello. I am a nervous newbie trying to find the courage to book the Highlights of Tuscany on 8 September from Gatwick. It looks an amazing trip. Has anyone else already done it and is anyone booked for this date in September? Hopefully it won't  be too hot for sightseeing?

I went on this holiday in June. You will find reviews from me and a lady called Maureen in the review section. It is a really good trip, I would recommend it. And don't feel worried about travelling on your own. I met 2 ladies on the JY trip to Costa de la Luz in 2013 and we have been holidaying together every year since! And we meet up in between.............so go for it!!

The tour manager was fantastic, the hotel is small, just guests from our tour when I was there.

I did the extra excursions as well, loved Lucca!

I took two books with me, didn't even pick one up.

I would suggest getting to the airport earlier than stated, BA are having problems with check in.

The first step is always the hardest, but once you have taken it then there is no stopping. I started travelling with Just You in 2009 and have not looked back since. Like Lesley, I too have a long list of places to visit and it does get longer each time a new brochure is published! Be brave and take the plunge. You will have no regrets. Gatwick is quite a small airport with only 2 Terminals - North and South and you can't get lost - this is from someone who has got no sense of direction (me)!
