I've been following the thread re flights from other airports (now on Ask the editor site). I feel the air companies and JY are missing out on big business by not coming up with a mutual arrangement for flights from the North.
However, just wanted to let those up North know, if you're looking for a nice holiday at Christmas, I have booked to go to Northern Cyprus with a connecting flight from Manchester to Heathrow. I've done this on a few occasions with JY. If anyone is new to this and nervous about travelling down alone, I will be happy to meet up with you at Manchester. Don't let it stop you from booking your holiday.
So, anyone for mild temperatures, sightseeing and a nice Christmas?
