Trying to decide on when would be best to take the Highlights of Peru trip, April or October? Has anyone any experience of the trip and the weather in either of these months to help my decision.

Hi, I've booked the April trip. My niece went in April a couple of years ago and said the weather was nice and warm, short sleeved tshirts in the day and a jacket for evening, hope this helps, regards Valerie

I'm booked on this trip for 2nd October and am working on the idea of wearing layers as I expect it to be warm during the day and chilly at night. As most of this tour is high in the mountains and also next to Lake Titicaca I suspect that the weather could change quite quickly so I'm already trying to get an idea of what will be best to pack. I'm taking the option of flying via Bristol as it means an extra night in Lima before flying up to Cusco.
