It is exciting I'm already looking forward to next years brochure comes out and I haven't even finished with this years holidays yet.

It'll be interesting to see what dates are on offer, I'd certainly be looking to go in the first half of the year, April/May would be good. But whatever options we have its a great chance to do a trip thats been a ambition for a long time.

I'm sure a few of us on here will end up on the same trip but reckon we may have to be quick with booking, I've a feeling its a trip that will be very popular.

Didn't realise straight away you are the Jackie that was on the same Americas Golden West Holiday last year. Was only looking at my photos the other day (you are on some of them).

Hope you are well.

Have you done any holidays since that trip or any planned ?

I went to Adalucia with JY in November and also did Budapest independantly in October. I've actually got 2 JY hols booked o far this year, Mallorca in April and Parks & Canyons in June but will probably do something else later in the year.

Anyway maybe get to meet you again on Route 66 next year if we end up on the same trip.

It is great news I'm looking forward to the new brochure so I can start making plans. Still this years holidays to do yet, Mallorca in April plus Parks & Canyons in June already booked and hopfully others to plan.

I've been watching Route 66 with great interest! I've been to Florida and New York and am off to Canada with JY in Sept, but you've all got me going now!!! I think I'll be trying to get on Route 66 as you all seem to be really nice people and all varying ages with lots of fun between you!

The America's Golden West trip was great (still can't believe Brian's near miss at the Grand Canyon!) - not been on any hols since then but planning to go to China this year. I think a lot of people would go for the Rroute 66 trip (myself included!) Enjoy Mallorca and Canyons and might see on you on Route 66.

Who can forget Brians rain dance, quite funny afterwards but not at the time.

Looking forward to getting the Route 66 dates, I'm hoping to go sort of April/May/June next year, maybe our paths will cross again, who knows.

Another new member, already booked to go to Istanbul at the end of September, but would also be intrested in the Route 66 trip in the future, something I have been intrested in since I saw the TV show ( yes I am that old).
