Hello all,

I am really interested in booking the Vietnam trip for November 2026 but unsure as whether to just go all out and also book the Cambodia add on!

So a few queries about the Cambodia part of the tour...

I was wondering if whilst in Phnom Penh there would be enough time to also visit the S21 and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum? A very sobering experience I'm sure but an important part of Cambodia history. I see other travel companies include it in their itinerary. Im happy to organise this myself but unsure as to whether or not the itinerary would allow enough time.

I also wondered if there is also enough free time to explore Siem Reap. I see that much of the time there is devoted to Angor Wat (which i really want to see) but is there also time to experience other things.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Carla,

Happy New Year and what a way to start with planning your next holiday. I have spoken to our operations team who are going to discuss this with our locla agents in Cambodia to see if/how this could work for you. With the festive break it may be a few days until we can get back to you with an answer but we will be in touch!

Best wishes,

Lorraine

Hi Carla,

I hope you are well and thanks for your patience while we looked into your query. We have heard back from our agent with regards to the Vietnam and Cambodia trip:

We have 1 full day in Phnom Penh, during which time we will visit Wat Phnom, Royal Palace and National Museum. The agent we use is happy to arrange a visit to S21 Toul Sleng Genocide Museum for yourself and for anyone else on the trip who wishes to visit - this will be at an added cost and will be arranged while on tour.

On arrival please speak to your Holiday Director and local guide who will be able to arrange this for you. As you have 3 nights in Siam Reap, there will be enough time at leisure to explore independently. I hope this helps and any other questions please let us know.

Best wishes,

Lorraine
