I am really looking forward to Japan in October - somewhere I have long wishes to visit.

We are flying via Bangkok - how does it work with connecting flights?  I have always previously flown direct to a destination.

Will we be changing planes?  Do we have to collect luggage?  etc

Also do we have to book our seats beforehand?

Please can you advise.

For connecting flights you will be changing planes. As all flights are with the same airline your lugguage should go straight through without you needing to collect it, but I would double check this with the agent when you check in at Heathrow and on the way back at Osaka.

With regards to booking seats, as this is a group booking with the airline seats will be allocated for you for all flights.
