Difficult to answer maybe but any idea about how much currency to take to Jordan please?

Cost of living? Use of credit or debit cards or is actual money better?

Thanks so much for your question, it is a little tricky to provide exact details on the amount to bring but we did speak to Alan, one of our Holiday Advisors who visited Jordan earlier this year.

Cost of living is similar to here in the UK, cards are widely excepted (even in the markets in Petra, stall holders have chip and pin machines). Brreakfast and dinner is included daily so there's only lunch, drinks and souvenirs to account for.

Here's a link to his travel story if you would like a little more info on the experience: https://www.justyou.co.uk/about-us/testimonials/alans-journey-to-jordan/

I hope this helps and have a wonderful time!

For budget travelers, it's possible to get by on around 30-50 Jordanian Dinars (JOD) per day. For mid-range travelers, a daily budget of 50-100 JOD is more common. High-end travelers can expect to spend more.
