As valued members of the Just You Community, I like it when I can let you be the first to hear when we have some exciting news to share.
And, with this in mind, I am delighted to announce that Jan Leeming, actor, author, broadcaster and star of the ‘Real Marigold Hotel’ has become a Brand Ambassador for Just You. But don’t tell anyone - this isn’t being officially announced until tomorrow!
Jan sat down with the Just You team so that we could get to know her a little better – we’re busy writing it up but as soon as it’s ready we’ll post a link here! In the meantime here’s a little about her…
Travel has always been in Jan’s blood, born in the UK she moved ‘down under’ to Australia, where she made history by becoming the first woman newsreader on television. On returning to the UK, joined Granada TV as a newsreader, fronted her own show, Women Only, presented Pebble Mill and The Food Programme and read the BBC news for seven years. Most recently, Jan was back on the BBC as she and her fellow celebrities entertained us with their exploration of India in the Real Marigold Hotel.
Jan will soon be sharing her Just You experiences with us and at some public events over the coming year too – keep your eyes peeled for it all.
