I have seen the posts about how brochures are being selected to be sent out and it is madness.  I have received the Europe one for JY despite doing long haul trips and now the Worldwide for Travelsphere - but the only trip I have done with TS is Poland!!!

Are the selections being done by someone wearing a blindfold with pin?

I hadn’t realised until I read the comments on here but you are all right.

I was only sent the Europe brochure.

I just put it aside because I am planning India or chile.

Madness !!

( and I have done long haul with JY as well as short haul )

Further to another thread on the forum about group numbers I tend to use other solo companies now because they state maximum group numbers in their brochures.

Come on JY...wake up !

Hi Vickie and others,

It's good that those who have posted will receive the other brochure, but what about the many thousands of JY customers who don't use the forum?  They could think that JY are not running any tours in Europe if they only received the Worldwide brochure or vice versa!  I am sure many people only consult the website to look at one or two tours, rather than view a wide range, as it is so cumbersome to do so online and so much easier and more enjoyable to flick through a brochure!  I would be afraid that JY will lose many potential sales because of this.

I have only received a worldwide brochure. I didn’t know there was a new European one until I read this entry. Please could I have a European one as I am only doing europe this year after a few years of long haul.

It’s the same for me, despite going on mostly European tours, I have also only received the Worldwide brochure. Please can I have a European brochure. I hope in future I receive one brochure with all tours in, and not two separate ones.

Could I have the Worldwide brochure too please? I went to Florida with JY fairly recently,(Nov 17), but I too only got the European one last week. Is JY 'Penny Pinching' again? My friend who went to Andalucia with JY in September was only sent ONE luggage label instead of the usual two in September and had to phone and request another one. Even the new pink labels are sub-standard and the design is terrible compared to the stylish Green and Grey ones, Together with the reports on this forum about more remote hotels and fewer meals, and now not getting a full range of brochures, what's going on?

Hi Vickie,

I too have only received the Worldwide brochure, and would like to receive a European one asI am looking for some short haul trips to fill in around a couple of long hauls.  It really does not make sense to distribute individual brochures to selected customers- what’s wrong with  proper worldwide one with everything in it to everyone, and why as late as January when some people need to organise their time off work etc.  earlier.  These arguments surfaced a year or so ago on the forum; it appears JY just doesn’t listen and learn. Please improve!
