A couple years ago I spent New Year at Cheltenham where I enjoyed a good time. I would have joined in 2016 but noted that the excursions were still the same and didn't want to do the same ones. I did go to Leicester instead but it was quite a way for me to travel especially if the weather is bad. May I suggest that the itinerary could change and a good excursion might be to Sudeley Castle. It looks both historic and interesting and I note that it is open over New Year? Others might also like a varied itinerary.
