Hi Jonah,

It's so hard to decide isn't it?!  I have been dithering between several different holidays since the new tours were launched and I am finally about to book....

All the best,

Bob

Thanks Mildred, hopefully that will help.

Yes Bob - so much to choose from.  I am actually booked for Russia in October but I think I might need a plan B as sometimes the rhetoric from Mr Putin et al isn't very welcoming!!

Hope you find something you fancy soon too.

Regards

Chris

Hi again,

Russia was my first choice for next Sept but after doing the Baltic tour with TS in Sept, I thought it would be too similar to do it next year - churches, big buildings and not much by way of scenery!  But it is still very definitely on my wishlist - if WWIII hasn't started in the meantime!!!

All the best,

Bob

Hi Jonah,

I did the Russia tour in September and found the locals quite welcoming; not at all like the distinctly unfriendly Mr Putin. Before I went, my philosophy was 'what can they do to me that the Mexicans didn't?' ...but that's another story (which Bob knows only too well!)

They say that travel broadens the mind, and Russia did that more than any other tour I've done, namely by realising that people aren't necessarily what you expect based on the public face of a country that is portrayed to the rest of the world. In Russia's case, that, unfortunately, is Mr Putin. However, I'm sure that you will enjoy the churches, the history, the architecture and all the other sights that Russia has to offer. Hopefully, as Bob says, WW3 won't have started in the meantime!

Cheers

Mike

Thanks Mike.  Russia has been on my wishlist for some time so it will take WW3 or something near to put me off but unfortunately these days things can blow up quite quickly and Mr Putin may decide my fingerprints aren't to his liking!.  As I say a Plan B.

Hi Jonah

I doubt if Mr Putin is interested in either in yours or anyone else's fingerprints! I am sure you will be warmly welcomed if you do decide to go to Russia.
