Hello,

Do you have anymore information re the Easter Island add.

Are we accompanied by a tour manager and is there any included excursions? Also what are the optional excursions available to us.

The info on the website is very vague.

Hi Julie,

Yes you'll be accompanied by a tour manager and he/she will be the same tour manager you have on the main tour. the other great news is that all excursions are included!

These are:

- Rano Kau & Orongo

- Ahu Akivi & Puna Pau

- Rano Raraku, Tongariki & Anakena beach

Kind regards,

Elisa

Hi Julie,

I asked this very question a couple of months ago!  Here's the link to my thread, as you might find the info in some of the posts helpful.  This should be the most amazing tour!

Hi Julie

A few months back Monty posted the following:-

"Spend three nights on Easter Island, an intriguing destination covering roughly 64 square miles in the South Pacific Ocean. During your stay we include two full days of exploration including visits to the iconic giant stone figures, or moai, that the island is famous for.

On day two you will have included excursions to Rano Kau & Orongo in the morning and Ahu Akivi & Puna Pau in the afternoon. Your full day excursion on day three includes visits to Rano Raraku, Tongariki & Anakena beach."

On the recommendation of Mandy (forum name AELB) I bought the kindle version of 'A Companion to Easter Island' by James Grant-Peterkin who is the British Honarary Consul on the island. The places on our itinerary seem to be the 'ones to see'.

This should be a fantastic tour with a great group of people (lots of familiar faces!) - only 70 weeks to go....

Thank you Bob and Sally

You help is much appreciated.

I have read through all the threads and I have booked this holiday for October next year, November is fully booked but I knew this already as I have just returned from the fantastic Borneo holiday, with Taffy, and she is booked on this date.

Sally I will need to get me an app that counts down the weeks.

Best wishes

Julie

Mandy - I am soooo jealous of your trip, it sounds fantastic. Please do let us know how you get on.

Julie, so sorry you can't join us in Chile in Nov but atleast we will have a fantastic review from you (and of course we get to see you in Feb for Burma). The app I use is simply called 'countdonwn' and you can set many different dates at once.

To all those doing this trip - have a fantastic time. I wanted to go in November next year, but since I left it too late there were no places left. So I will do the tour in 2018 and hope it is still on offer. Look forward to reading your reviews. I am trying not to be too jealous as I usually do not have a jealous bone in my body!

Best wishes
