Can you tell me if any visas are required for UK citizens for this tour. If visas are needed, can they by organised by JY, and what is the cost?

Hi Simmag,

Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil are affected by the flooding, but does not affect our itinerary at present.

Within Argentina the provinces of Corrientes, Chaco and Entre Rios and Santa Fe are affected by flooding. Also, the province of Buenos Aires touches the other affected provinces, but Buenos Aires City is not affected. None of this affects our itinerary.

I hope this helps.

Kindest regards,

Monty

Hi,

Is it possible please to know the order and the days of the optional excursions. ie such a trip is on day 4 and such a trip is on day 6 etc? They don't appear to be in chronological order.

Many thanks.

Hi Annie, I did all the optionals on this tour and enjoyed them all. The Estancia ranch, Brazilian side of the Falls and Sugarloaf Mountain are must do! The winery visit was very enjoyable with top quality wines and the Tigre Delta tour was a relaxing boat trip past beautiful houses. Enjoy!

Thank you Monty. It really helps before you depart to know which days trips will happen.

Thanks Bob, good of you to post that info. The only one I was dithering over was the ranch. I do like to have some free time and I didn't the order of events happening.

Hi Annie,

I absolutely loved the ranch experience! When we arrived we were given empanadas (similar to Cornish pasties) and wine and then we had a barbeque lunch with steak and more wine! After this we were treated to a show where the gauchos danced for us (I won't tell you anymore so I don't ruin it for you, but it was worth it!) and there was a short tango show. Then we went outside and they did tricks on horseback for us. There was also a museum to look at. I saw a colony of leaf cutter ants in the grounds and got some great video footage as I followed their trail for a couple of hundred metres. It was one of the best excursions I've ever done - you have to do it!! If you wanted to have some free time in BA I'd suggest you give the Tigre Delta a miss, but I have to say I found it very relaxing and enjoyable.

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Annie, I'm sure you will enjoy the Tigre Delta - it was a nice relaxing trip looking at the holiday homes of the well off as we meandered along the river. Just make sure you do the ranch trip as well, I'd be amazed if you don't find it really enjoyable!

Cheers,

Bob
