I experienced a lot of problems this morning. Have only just been able to get onto here and not through my normal link.

Anyone else having problems?

I doubt you were the only one who had problems this morning - hopefully not too many people had difficulties but this has been a "side-effect" of the brand new website going live!

I too had a bit of problem just now (15:10) when I tried to log on, but eventually had success! I thought it was just me....

Thanks Julia. Have saved the new website to "My Favourites" now. Haven't really had time to explore the new innovations yet but congratulations in advance to all involved.

Still having problems this Saturday through my normal link to the community site. Arrived at it a different way though Google.

Issues seem to have multiplied. Went to look at the Cuba itinerary only to find the April/May flights now leaving on Sunday on departures page, but if you go to book there are back to the Monday departure dates. And amusingly, the return flights (from Cuba) leave from Paris and return to Aberdeen! (with the wrong day, Tuesday listed not the Monday).

Looks like IT won't be getting much Christmas shopping done this weekend.

That said, I do like the new site.

I haven't been able to log on since last night. Even though I never clicked on 'Remember me' it kept remembering my password. Since I couldn't log on, I was asked to change my password and then activate a random password given via email. I had enough of it. In the end I re-registered myself using a different username, password and another email address.

I can only access this site via the main website. Is this a permanent feature of the new set up?

As a number of you have noticed, we have unfortunately been experiencing some performance issues on the new website.

In order to correct these, we have reverted to the old website for the time being (if you're not seeing the old website yet, please note this can take anything up to 48 hours to fully take effect).

We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Thanks for the explanation I thought I was losing the plot because I had the old website...there are always teething problems with these things Good Luck getting it all sorted.

And I thought it was me!! I kept getting "error" messages all weekend, even when I tried to get in through JY's main site, and it was only this morning that I finally cracked it. I've replaced the Forum site in my favourites so I hope all the IT juggling won't upset it again! Beyond getting in, I haven't checked out the whole of the new site so can't comment.

I hope the gremlins won't spoil your IT department/person's Christmas and that all will be working properly in the near future. In the meantime, a very happy Christmas and peaceful New Year to you all.
