Hi,

Whats the travel advice for Kenya now? I understand that recently the Hom e Office advised against all non essential travel.

Hi Mark,

The travel advice for Kenya continues to be essential travel only - as such all 2014 Just You holidays to this destination have been cancelled.

The situation will continue to be monitored for 2015 departures.

Hi I hope this means that JY are actively looking at re-instating tours to Tanzania instead! I'd love to visit Ngorongoro and the Serengeti whereas the Kenya Mara/Mombasa combination doesn't appeal to me, especially when you have to share rooms on safari on the JY Kenya tour. I suspect this may be a possibility as I see on the TS website that Tanzania is now appearing in the destinations box, although no holidays have yet been loaded!

Hi Bob,

I understand that certain conversations are being had by the product team. And, your detective skills are bang on - there is a holiday to Tanzania being launched for Travelsphere - it has been loaded into the website database and is ready to be published on to the live website just as soon as the brochure begins mailing.

Thanks Julia, here's hoping Will and Co are able to re-work this tour for JY in the coming years (with single occupancy rooms throughout!). Even better if there would be a Zanzibar add-on! I know a certain competitor does this tour, but they go in April (worst time of year for safari in Tanzania according to all the websites) and I really want to keep travelling with JY so long as health, money and time allow!!

I hope Tanzania appears soon as I had a wonderful holiday there with Explore a few years ago. The Selous & Ruaha were the safari destinations... very quiet and unspoilt with plenty of wildlife. The holiday also incorporated rain forest and the Highlands. Fingers crossed Just You offer something similar in due course. Unforgettable!
