The official line is that this isn't something that is being worked on at the moment, however the response from JY Will was that he thinks its a very good idea.

Will and his team really do listen to the community so I'm going to say, if any other travellers would be interested in this type of trip - have your say on this thread.

This is something that I would be very interested in. I love France, I love food and I love wine. It is very difficult to enjoy on your own, so I do hope an itinerary can collated.

Hopefully Will can come up with some good ideas for a starter - which for me would be a dozen oysters and a glass or two of a nice chilled Chablis!

if we ever meet up on tour I would be pleased to meet you but would have to distance my self at meal times !!!

My husband is a meat eater so if we go out for a meal out I tend to NOT sit opposite him, so I don't have to see to much! While in NZ I found eating hard so I did have I think they called it blue cod on about 4 occasions. So yes I can do cod if I have to.

Saying all this some of my most enjoyable meals are at carverys as I love vegetables etc.

Eating is such a chore ha ha ha

Following this conversation has made me laugh. I love a medium rare steak, best one ever was in a French restaurant called Montparnasse in New York.

My French penfriends' Mum is a Cordon Bleu chef and she used to serve us wonderful meals, never told you what was in it till you licked your lips at the end :P

Not keen on wine or beer, love a good cider though and have tasted some wonderful homemade ciders throughout France.

Sure would love a fine food tour :)

that sounds wonderful! steak needs to be rare and the claret vintage.... some oysters as a starter would set it off nicely....
