Hi Fresca, I've done the Golden West tour and have been to Israel (but not with JY). The US trip was fantastic, the highlights for me being the wonderfully atmospheric city of San Francisco, Vegas (which I didn't think I'd like, but I loved it!) and the Grand Canyon. The highlights of the Holy Land for me were Galilee (beautiful and a real sense of peace) and Jerusalem (with the hustle, bustle, Via Delarosa and Church of the Holy Sephulchre). Two very, very different holidays and it is hard for me to say which one you should do. Go with your gut and I'm sure you won't regret either! Things seem fairly stable in Israel/Palestine at present, so perhaps it is a good time to go in case they get difficult once more. Hope that helps.

Hi Bob, thank you so much for your message. I am glad that you enjoyed both locations and it is now up to me to make up my mind. My concern was, like your rightly said, the situation in Israel so I wasn't sure whether or not to consider this trip, also because I could not see, in the various threads, any comments about this trip. I'll give it a thought in these next couple of weeks and then book one of them. Enjoy your next destination 🙂.Fran
