According to the Avios website both Page&Moy and Travelsphere give 10 points per pound spent. Just You are not mentioned, is there any reason for this. I am spending approx £3,500.00 pounds with Just You this year, so 35,000 points would be a handy addition to my total. Also I belong to the frequent flyer programme with British Airways and as I am going on the Treasures of Andalucia on 23rd February, I am wondering if I can get BA tier points for this. If so, how do I go about getting them added to my account, as I have obviously booked the holidays directly with Just You.

Hi Peter

Sorry for the delay. I don't know much about this subject so I'm trying to get an answer through a number of colleagues. I'll let you know when I hear more.

Kind regards,

Peter,

Is what you asking based on using Lloyds TSB American express credit cards or just been a Avios member. Reason I ask is because if the points are available I'm same as you and interested, however I tend to use my debit card to book with JY because of the charges for using my credit card.

Hi Peter

I'm told by Avios that Just You is available in the estore section of the website but not the travel section, which only shows a few of Avios's partners. To see it, you will need to log in to your Avios account and visit the estore. (I'm not registered so I wasn't able to check for myself). My understanding is that you would need to book your Just You holiday with Avios rather than direct with Just You to get the points.

As for Tier points, I'm told that you can accumulate these with our holidays. If you can call our holiday advisors and let them know your frequent flyer number, they will make a note on your booking. After you have travelled, we will send the flight list to BA and it is at their discretion whether they add the points to your account or not - but it's certainly worth trying.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

As I understand it, you can pay by your debit card on Avios and accumulate your points as normal. As Olly says, you must book the holiday through Avios to get the points. I have a Lloyds Duo Credit Card, which means that you have 2 credit cards, one is American Express and the other is Mastercard. You get 50% more with American Express but a lot of companies will not accept American Express because they have to pay them very high charges, typically 10% or even more. It is too late for me this year but next year I will book through Avios using the Mastercard. The way I have worked it out on a £1000.00 is I would receive 10,000 points from Just You plus 1000 points from LloydsTSB. Word of warning though, always pay the credit card off in full when you get the bill. Not living in the UK I assume that LloydsTSB issue duo cards over there. There are different financial rules for Channel Islanders.

For anyone else reading this, who does not know what Avios Points are they are the old AIR MILES but with different rules and can be used online in many stores with online ordering.

Hello Olly

Thank you for your help. Checked the e-store on Avios and Just You are there. Also told your staff my frequent flyer number with BA and they have added it to my booking.

Just returned from Andalucia and already the Avios points have been added to my account. All 1750 of them. Not bad when you don't really expect to get any. So a big thank you to you and the 'backroom' staff.
