I'm going to Prague on 23rd August and Japan on 16th October and interested to know how many people are booked on each tour.

Also, do have any information regarding mobile phone usage in Japan? Most sources say UK phones can't be used there, some say they can!

So far 17 people have booked the Prague break and 18 have booked the Japan holiday.

Whether you can use your phone or not will depend on your phone and your phone company, so I'm not surprised you have had a variety of answers. I would recommend getting in touch with your phone company (or looking at their website) to find out if you can use it and - perhaps more importantly - how much it will cost. Another option might be to rent a phone while you are there, as I believe you can rent phones at the airport.
