Hi Olly,

Have taken 4 years to pluck up courage to book a trip! What a coward. Am doing the above trip on September 14th Can you tell me how many are booked on this trip, who the tour manager is and if anyone is flying from Glasgow to Heathrow as I am? Will I be able to book my luggage from Glasgow through to Zurich as both flights are BA also does the GLasgow flight go into the same terminal as the flight to Zurich leaves from? This is my first ever holiday on my own.Who can give me advice about suitable clothes as I do not know how cold it might be on some of the excursions and also how dressy it is in the hotel in the evenings. Thanks for any advice you give me. Regards

Olly

Hi Eileen

You aren't a coward at all. It's a big step to book your first single holiday so well done for taking the plunge. I'm sure you won't regret it.

So far 21 people have booked this trip and your tour manager will be Micha Vamos. I don't have details on who is flying from Glasgow but you should be able to check your bags all the way through. Ask the BA crew member at check-in to be sure. If you let me know your booking reference I should be able to tell you which terminals you will be flying to, if the flights have been confirmed now. Alternatively, you will see these details in your final information pack, which will be posted around two weeks before you travel.

As for what to wear, it's likely to be around 15 degrees during the day (possibly as warm as 20 degrees at times) but of course it might be chillier in the evenings so I would take a light coat and some warm clothes with you. You are welcome to dress how you like in the evenings. I think most people like to be a bit smarter in the evenings but it really is up to you.

I hope this helps you prepare for your first trip with us.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

Hi Eileen

Your flights are currently scheduled to arrive and depart from Terminal 5. Your baggage will probably be checked through for you but ask when you check in to be sure.

Have a great trip.
