Can I use a plug in mozzie deterrant at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge? If so what plug connection/adaptor do I need?

Also do we need to repack our bags at Mombassa Airport? If so why? I was told that all our luggage is going with us to Ashnil.

The hotel does have an electricity supply so you will be able to plug in any gadgets you have. The sockets in Kenya are the same as in the UK, so no adaptor is needed. However, mosquito nets are provided so you probably won't need your gadget. The luggage limit is only 20kg, I think, so you might be better off just using the nets.

As for the luggage repacking, we ask that you take a soft-sided holdall for the safari part of the holiday. The rest of your luggage will be kept in Mombasa for the second part of your trip. The reason for this is that space is very limited in the safari vehicles and large solid suitcases would take up too much room.
