Hello Linday,

I know there is Dyuti and me going on the October trip, others going in November. Just booked my coach trip for the Thursday- did think about getting the 01.30 getting in at 04.15 but I need some sleep ๐Ÿ™‚ Shall book Premier Inn tomorrow at Terminal 4. Reading Singapore Airlines on FB, someone said that Silk Air is a possibility from Singapore to Auckland- make sure that your tablet is charged and has films as there is nothing on Silk Air and it is a 10.5 hour flight :dodgy: I hope this is wrong.

Hi Jan

Nice to hear from you. Luckily I live in Windsor so I'm only a cab ride away from Heathrow. My invoice states that all flights are with Singapore Airlines together with flight numbers so I hope that's right as Silk Air doesn't sound a good option. I've booked 3 of the optional excursions - Hobbiton, gondola ride, star gazing and dinner in Queenstown and Walter Peak cruise and dinner. I'm now counting down the days

You'll be pleased to know I've double checked and Silk Air don't operate between Singapore and Auckland so we will be on Singapore Airlines all the way ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello Linday,

Good to hear that Singapore Airlines all the way- getting a little worried. I shall have to ring Just You for the Gondola Ride and star gazing as I thought it was on the same day as the Walter Peak cruise. Also booked for the Hobbiton.

I have been told that there maybe a chance for helicopter to Franz Joseph/ Fox Glacier and flights around Mount Cook depending on weather.

Hey all

I hope you all have a super time in Singapore and New Zealand. I hope at least one of you will write a review.

I've got this tour booked for November 2018 as I'll be 50 before the tour ends in December.

Hello Janib,

Not long to go now! I am so looking forward to this tour. You must have recd the final docs as an attachment. We are not using Silk Air at all. On our way to Singapore, we will be served a brunch a couple of hours after the take off. Then the next meal will be breakfast before we land. My daughter flew to Singapre on the same flight, she suggested to take some snacks.

We are flying from Terminal 2, not 4.

Hello James,

I usually write a review on return from my travels. I have just got my paperwork and tickets yesterday, ordered my dollars. I went to book Premier Inn at Terminal 4 then found out it is 4 miles away on the other side of the airport which is alright for Terminal 4, not Terminal 2. Now booked in to Park Inn on Bath Road which I stayed in 3 years ago en route to Chicago.

Have a great 50th birthday Down Under x

Jan
