I haven't been on this trip with JY, although I know some of the area as I stayed in Makarska many years ago.  It's so beautiful.

I went on this trip last month and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in 2 excellent hotels and the food in the second hotel was exceptionally good, both hotels were nicely situated with the one in Petrane being in a very quiet location with lovely strolls in each direction. The trips to Split, Zadar and Dubrovnik were very enjoyable with the journey to Dubrovnik being nearly 3 hours, but the time passed very quickly as you follow the coastal road and the scenery is beautiful. The boat trip to Hvar and Brac was very enjoyable and lovely to have a day relaxing. One tip for you though, it is not worth paying £29 for the trip to Markaska which is only just over 2 miles away and you only get a 1/2 hr guided tour. You can catch the local bus on the main road and it only cost £1 or you could walk it. You will enjoy the trip!
