Hi Julia

I notice that this tour is fully booked with 18 people.

How does JY decide the different number limits on each tour?

Hi Fleurbyfleur,

Good question! Maximum group sizes do vary and there are a number of reasons for this. For example, it could be that our preferred accommodation can only provide us with a limited number of rooms or the size of the overseas transport may also play a part (Tundra vehicles on the Polar Bear tour). In addition to this there is the overall demand for a destination and environmental factors. For example, Travelsphere operate a tour that visits the Galapagos Islands - the Galapagos National Park authorities have requested alternating itineraries are operated to minimize the impact of tourism on the islands and their wildlife.

Those points are just some that the team need to consider when putting together a holiday.

Kindest regards,

Julia
