Hello

Can anyone tell me the best month to visit Florida. I was thinking of going September 2014, looking forward to the Everglades. The hurricane season seems to last a long time.

I went in May of this year and it was scorching! only saw rain once... You want good weather when you are at the beach part of this tour..

I have been to Florida quite a lot and we used to go in November. Its not as hot and humid but still sunny and warm. Occasionally would get a late afternoon shower but that's all. I have thought about going on this trip and would choose November.

Florida is very hot, and very, very humid from March to September, with the "worst" conditions being in the June/July/August period. Unless you are happy with very high humidity I would avoid these months, also this is the period of US & European school holidays, so there are a lot of people around, especially near any theme or water park attraction.

Like Sue, personally I would pick November, December or January, where temperatures will be just a bit above our summer.
