Well I'm 26 years old and currently going through a really hard break up.

I have the chance to go on holiday with friends but I really just want some time away on my own to clear my head.

Can anyone tell me a destination that would be perfect for my age group.

But do not want anywhere I will see couples all loved up lol.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Trying not to make this an agony aunt thread, just looking for ideas on a destination and wheres anyone else my age would reccomend?

Sorry to hear about your hard break up. Most people travelling with Just You are on their own. I am not using the word single as some of them do have partners, but for various reasons choose to travel on their own. Just You is a very good company and you are looked after from start to finish. At 26 you will probably be the youngest in the group, but I would not let that put you off. After all age is just a number and if you get on well with people of all ages then you will have no problem at all. As for the destination, why don't you make a list of places you always wanted to see and then pick a destination on offer from Just You. I am sure you will have a great time. My first trip with Just You was to Jordan and we did have a couple of young people in their early 20s.

So sorry you're going through such a bad time. However, rest assured any holiday you chose with JY will not be full of couples "all loved up".

I should think you would want to pick a holiday so full of activities and visits you won't have time to think of your heartbreak, except to think you wish you'd done a JY holiday before.

Have a look at the brochure, choose somewhere you REALLY want to see, take the plunge and have a great time.

There is always a mixture of ages on all the tours, so you won't be the only youngster.

I am also 26 and i started using JY when i was 21. I have been on 3 trips, Paris, Croatia and Paris at New Years Eve. I enjoyed them all thoroughly. The best thing to do is to pick a holiday you would enjoy. Is there a particular place you want to go to? I don't think anyone goes on these holidays with the intention of finding a date haha. You'll inevitably find some couples and whilst this is a company for people travelling alone, they could still be part of a couple.

I think the above replies sayit all.I have my 9th tour booked for Florida in 14 days not that I am counting !!!

I do have a hubby but I eave him at home I do tours and he does GOLF!

As the thers say there are man destination to pick from so, have a real good look at what is on offer, and GO FOR IT....I promise us OLDIES (I am 54) won't bite...all the ages just mix really well...
