As someone who always packs the ktchen sink plus the handles this is giving me some cause for concern!!

Please can any of my fellow 'Just Youers' help with regards to luggage on the Inspirational China holiday.

I did this trip in 2010 and, from what I remember, internal flight allowance was slightly less than flight out to China. I also remember that I was without my suitcase for a couple of days when we went to Chende but trip has changed slightly and this may not now be the case. I suggest you take a holdall with you (I folded one in the bottom of my case) and was very glad that I did as some of my fellow travellers had to buy one! Suggest also that you contact JY team as they will be able to advise.

i think these airlines should realise if your on a tour package as whats the point being given say 23kgs from here and then the internal flights being just 20, i am fearing this when i go to Australia 23kg for the international flights and then 20 for the internal doesnt make sense

Thanks for replying to my post. This is my first long haul flight so I am a novice at these things. So, being realistic, our main case should only be at the maximum 20kgs. I was thinking that for the internal flights we were only allowed to take one item as hand luggage but now realise that maybe that is not the case (sorry for the pun!!) and we can take our main case as loaded luggage - if that makes sense.

I imagine with such an early post, I shan't be seeing you on the 9 October trip? Pity. You post a very valid enquiry from which I might benefit too. 20Kg sounds a sensible compromise. So just don't pack the handles!
