Just wondered if anybody was thinking of going to Kenya in Sept 2013

Hi Steve Yes I'm thinking of going on this one in Sept. Almost at point of taking the plunge and booking. Chose September because it looks to be one of the best months weatherwise. Have asked a few friends who have been there (not with JY) and they all recommend it. So, hopefully see you there :thumbup:

I am seriously thinking about going to Kenya in September but I daren't book till a bit later in the year as my elderly mum is quite ill and I want to see how she is nearer the time before I decide if I am happy to leave her for a couple of weeks. It's a bit of a dilemma but hopefully, fingers crossed, I will be able to go. Have you booked?

No not booked yet as i too have elderly parents, but like you fingers crossed as its a place i have always wanted to visit to see the wildlife etc

Glad you think the same about September looking like a good month to choose. Only problem i have is that you fly from Heathrow & as i live in Leeds i dont know if JY offer a connecting flight on this hol.

Hi Steve - I am hoping to go to Kenya in September and, I too, live in the north in Doncaster. Maybe we could travel to heathrow together? Really looking forward to it but nervous as not travelled abroad on my own before..

Don't worry about travelling abroad on your own, especially with JY, as they are very well organised, i went with them to Egypt back in 2010 & it was great i had a great time, no worries

Thanks - I'm really looking forward to it. I've wanted to go on a safari in Africa since I was a little girl, so will finally tick it off my list!
