I think Croatia is going to be my destination next year. I know one of the tours is a new one so there wont be any feed back on that one but would like to hear from anyone who has done the Istrian coast. Only 1 inc excursion on this tour, all the optional ones sound good but could work out expencive? The hotel comes out well on Tripadviser, would you agree? I would go in June. I look forward to hearing any comments.

Hi Annie. I went back to Rabac on the Istrian Coast for the first time in 25 years on the Just You trip at the beginning of May this year. The hotel is very good, although most rooms don't have balconies. I personally wouldnt pay to have a sea view because really you dont have much of one because of the pines in front of the hotel. Buffet breakfast and evening meal choices are excellent. Staff are friendly, nice rooms, spotlessly kept. Entertainment some nights was okay. There is a nice outside atrium. I didnt use the indoor pool but heard good reports, the outside one is lovely with great views.
The included trip takes you to Pula, Porec and Rovinji so you see quite a bit of the area. I went on the boat trip which I enjoyed, but not on most of the other trips. Venice I heard was amazing but a very long day, as is Plitvice, which is amazing but lots of walking. I didnt go to the caves and horses as I had been before.
Rabac is lovely, lots of bars, eating places etc etc. Very pebbly beaches but the sea is crystal clear.
