Coral

I went on the highlights of Tuscany May 2011. I found it a very nice little tour NOT to exhausting plenty to see and do, a very nice group of people hotel staff were very helpfull, the hotel rooms are NOT very large, but it is right on the beach so you cant have everything. If there is anything else I can help with just ask. I have NOT done Lake Como.

Hi Coral, I went on the Highlights of Tuscany trip last September and had a wonderful time. The hotel is basic but clean and the staff are very friendly, the hotel has a large roof terrace which is well worth exploring. As the Italians take a siesta in the afternoons they tend to stay up late so it can be noisy at night but I didn't find it a problem. There is plenty to see on this tour also Lucca is well worth a visit if you decide to book this holiday.

Highlights of Tuscany was the first single holiday I ever took about five years ago and it was great. Booking it was the best thing I ever did and I have since travelled with Just You a number of times. The hotel has no frills but it is clean and perfectly adequate. The family who run it are really lovely and make you feel so at home. Every excursion was good, so many beautiful places. Some of the morning starts were a bit early because of the travelling distance but I am glad the hotel was where it is as it was very pleasant to take an evening stroll along the beach after a day in a busy sightseeing city. There is a roof terrace which has a nice view and is good to sunbath. The restaurant overlooks the sea. Every evening I watched beautiful sunsets from the restaurant. There is not a tremendous choice of food, and you have to place your order for dinner at breakfast time, but I enjoyed everything I had and it was genuine Italian cooking rather than international. I particularly loved the anti pasta buffet course which I would have been perfectly happy to have had as my main course.

I am booked for Lake Como 28th May. Never been before, so looking forward to it.

Faith,

Looks like we're booked in on the same holiday - Lake Como departing 28th May. I'm flying from Manchester. Should I look out for you at the airport?

Phil.
