Hello and welcome to you

I will be doing my 8th JY Tour in 2012...4 long haul 3 short haul and have NZ booked next year. More ladies than Men travel, group size anything from 20-45, main age 55-70 with older and younger either side. Great holidays and good fun. If I can help at all just ask away. There is an interveiw of me on the page if you want to have a look.

:

rolleyes: Like you I now on my ownsome after a long time as a twosome.

I am hoping to attend the Discovery Weekend at Bournemouth !8th November - that is if the lovely lady called Fay is able to pull enough strings for me (I left it a little late through indecision)

If I am succesful I look forward to a good and friendly time although I'm not so certain about the dancing as I haven't danced for some while. We'll see!!!:s

Great way to holiday for solo travellers, you will be surrounded by others all there for the same reason "a good holiday".

I've travelled by purely by myself many times in the past (I'm a travel addict) but decided to try the group thing with JY about one year after losing my partner to cancer as I didn't want to go alone. Really enjoyed it and have done 3 other trips with JY since and they have all been good.

If you have any specific questions don't be afraid to ask, thats what this forum is for.

Hi,

Welcome to Just You. I am not a veteran singles traveller, but went on my first singles holiday with JY in August. Please don't be anxious, although I know we have all been there. I really enjoyed my first holiday with JY - everyone was really friendly, the tour (Heart of Alpine Europe) was fantastic and everyone got on really well. I enjoyed myself so much, that within a month of returning I had booked a trip for next year to the National Parks, Canyons and Little Bighorn, places I have always wanted to see. I am going with a lady I met on my holiday in August and have kept in touch with a few people who I met on holiday. So you don't just get a holiday out of the experience, but meet new friends too. So put your anxieties to one side, have a look at which holiday you would like to do and just book it - you won't look back! That's what I did and haven't regretted it. Good luck and happy holidaying. Elaine

Hi

No need to be worried or anxious at all. I have been on two Just You holidays, had to cancel the third one booked for September this year due to treatment for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Have now rebooked this for May 2012. You will have a fantastic time and will be very well looked after. I keep in touch with two ladies I met on my first Just You holiday to Jordan in 2009. Go on and book yourself a holiday to a place you really want to visit and you will have no regrets at all.

I, too, am in the same boat, but female, whether I have the courage to book anything remains to be seen, but I would love to visit Italy and so many other places.
