This is my first solo holiday and have just paid the balance!

I have a flight booked (through JY) from Manchester to Gatwick although they have yet to confirm flight times for this.

The flight for the holiday goes from Gatwick at 07.30 ish. I noticed that other people who went on the same holiday, but earlier dates, had used the travel lodge at Gatwick.

JY say that we won't know flight times until 2 weeks before the holiday.

So, the questions are -

should I book overnight accommodation?

If so should I do it now - or wait?

If I wait until 2 weeks before when Manchester flight times are confirmed will it be difficult to get accommodation at a reasonable price?

What do people think of the Travel Lodge?

Any other suggestions/ adice?
