I have just booked for Tuscany 29th Sept and would like to contact fellow travellers. It is the first time with just you so I would like to have some prior contact with my fellow travellers. I am travelling from Newcastle any helpful tips gratefully received.

I am new to just you but I asked the booking agent on the telephone about the age and male female ratio and she was happy to give me them, I understand 50-70 is the majority age and 30% men 70% women

but if you are unsure I would ring and confirm for yourself. I would not usually ask this but I did not want to end up on a 20-30s singles holiday. Like you I was very unsure but now it is booked I am really looking forward to it.

Age ranges have been between late twenties to late seventies.

Women have always outnumbered the men.

Small group number has been 13 and biggest has been 40.

I've been on 4 JY holidays and the ages and sex ratio is spot on from what I've seen so far. Yes there have been younger & older but I would say 70% plus of the groups have been between 50 & 70 and I've yet to do a trip where men outnumber the ladies.

I assume a few others will, so is it worth us trying to book into the same hotel at Gatwick, and meeting up for a meal in the evening. We may as well start the holiday right away. Even more daunting than holidaying alone, is trying to sort out how to use a forum, I hope this gets through OK

What a good idea! but unfortunately I am catching an early flight from Newcastle on the 29th. so will not be able to meet up with you.I look forward to meeting you at gatwick.

I also agree that the forum poses a challenge but it does give a chance to speak to people.
