I also have had a dramatic change - Divorce has now entered my life and am currently doing all the paperwork to get it started.

Everyone has their reason for travelling by themselves but since we are all doing it, to me it does not seem as scary.

I couldnt go on a holiday where there was a possibility of being the only single person there, that is why I decided to go with Just You.

I understand that you are worried. I was too but take the bull by the horns and treat yourself :)

I am going to China and the Yangtze cruise 27th September if you want to go with someone who you havent met! :thumbup:

Just joined and never had to holiday on my own before. My life changed totally last year but I am determined not to hibernate for the rest of my life. However finding this difficult but am interested in holidays with others in same situation.

:rolleyes:hi i also have found myself in a time of my life were i am now on my own and i also after the last 2 years of being in limbo with my life have decided to do something for myself for a change and start to live my life again, i have booked for kenya in may the 11th, this was a massive step for me but after reading everyones comments on hear i feel a lot better about travelling now, everyone seems really friendly and most are in the same boat and the same frame of mind, im am really looking forward to it now but still a little nervous and scared. thanks paula x:shy:

The same for me too and I feel the same. Have booked for Kenya in October and a weekend in Leeds. Very nervous about doing this on my own but am determined to enjoy life as best I can.

I have been divorced for a long time, but this will be my first holiday alone as I have always had children in tow before. I have booked a holiday to Croatia in September and I am looking forward to it although a bit nervous.
