Am newly single and seriously considering a singles holiday.Fear and trepidation features!! Cant make up my mind if I should do a beach holiday (supposing I am left all alone on my sunlounger...!) or an activity/touring holiday....(at least I will have something to focus on...!) I am sure brand new travellers have these same doubts so messages of support will be gratefully received. Am very tempted by the Morroccan Discovery holiday, May 17th. Anyone out there looking at the same thing???

I hope by now you have booked the Moroccan Discovery tour and will be looking forward to it. I did the same tour in May 2007 and cannot put into words what a fabulous time I had. The group was great, lots of ages and personalities and the tour staff were brilliant from the tour manager to the local guide. The hotels were fine, especially the one at Erfoud and the food varied and good quality. I have been on several Just You holidays and this one was the best so far. Please don't worry about making friends, everyone is in the same boat and you will soon get talking and hate to leave each other when the holiday is over. am also single and tired of not getting away due to being alone so thought i would try this. not sure how i came to the idea but have to say this site looks great and i get the impression i would fit in with other travellers and be comfortable, i guess time will tell!

i am looking to go away in september - possibly the US or Asia. i do hope you choose to book - that is what my friends keep saying to me - just do it! would seem that there are lots of people on the site who have done many JY hols - i guess that in itself says something.

I am 38 years old, did my first trip with just you to the highlights of thailand and had a fab time, doing my second trip to prague, vienna, budapest and poland add on in september.

a little bit of advice, i can understand how you are feeling as i was the same feeling very nervous and a bit scared as did not know what to expect being first time on a singles holiday, I can tell you all that you have nothing to worry about you are well looked after by the tour rep and tour guide and it's well organised. Your fellow travellers are a very friendly crowd very one mixes well together and you will make some great friends. I am sure what ever you choose to do you will have a fab time and want to do something else afterwards once you have experienced your first singles holiday with just you.
