The hotel & location isn't done justice in the brochure. All inclusive and superb accommodation with a lot of amenities, it is close to a beach which is beautiful and free fromthe brollies, sunbeds and all the other 'trimmings'. The tour manager, Stan, is very good and knowledgable, the outings and itinery are well organised and as always optional. The company is good. On this trip, there were 31 of us of a wide age range, and all intermingled very well. If you like a holiday in company, but also like to be able to walk away and do your own thing when it suits you, then this could be the holiday for you. I certainly enjoyed it and this was my second JY holiday which was also very good. I look forward to my next holiday, probably next spring, destination yet to be decided. That will also be with JY.

Thanks for posting a report about your holiday to Punta Umbria. It sounds wonderful. Could you tell me if travelling from/to Glasgow was O.K. Did you meet the rest of the group at the airport, or not until you reached the hotel?

How long did the journey to Seville take?

You fly direct to Faro in Portugal. I went from Glasgow. There were three (3) of us. We were met and transferred directly to our location. Since it was late evening, we went immediately for dinner, then up to our rooms to get ourselves organised. So we did not meet anybody until the following morning. Our rep told us that parties arrived throughout the previous day and introduced us to the rest of our group. There were 31 in all with a good age mix although there were only 5 men on the holiday. Everyone mixed well and should you go ahead, I'm sure you will not be disappointed. It is basically down to yourself at the end of the day. Isn't it?

Transfer is about 1 3/4hrs and Seville is only about 1 1/2 hours away.
