Hi Helen,

You will soon fit in on this trip - and have a great time. Andy and I are both going on this trip on 9th May (see the other thread on this topic) and are looking forward to it. Don't worry about different ages because everyone mixes well and you will feel welcome. We don't know who our tour manager will be yet but whoever it is will make sure you have a good time. Not too long to go now. See you in May.

Be happy, best wishes.

Hi Helen

I am Also on this trip, And I must say you have picked a terrific location to start your Single travelling. Don't worry about the age, I am 49 going on 30, You will be fine. I was very similar on my first trip, But can assure you. You will have a great time. Never on all the past 8 Just you Holidays, Has age been a problem, I have found the vast majority get along fine. Get a couple of Schnapps down you, And that shyness will be cured. Seriously you will be fine. Look forward to seeing you at Gatwick.

Hi,

I have just booked the last seat on the plane!

This is my first trip too and I am older than any of you at 55 years but so young at heart.

I am lucky as I live one stop south of Gatwick.

Hi All.

I am a newbie and not too sure what to chose yet. But I do fancy Austria, Paticularly anything to do with Mozart or the Sound of Music. So would be delighted for any feedback on your return

Hi Helen & Dorothy,

Seems our tour manager for this trip is called Greta. So she may have the shopping gene! Sounds good to me. Not long to go now so look forward to catching up with you both at the airport.

Be happy, best wishes,

Lesley

Hi Sue,

I have just looked at your photos of this trip and it makes me even more glad I have chosen this one in May. I have been to Austria at Christmas (my first JY trip) so it will be good to see it at a different time of year.

We are becoming quite a group already so I am sure we will have a good time. I will let you know how we got on.

Thanks for your imput.

Be happy best wishes.

How long does the coach trip to Cesky Krumlov take? It looks like a long way on the trip!

Hi Helen,

When we went last year, it was only a couple of hours each way, with a comfort stop both ways. Well worth the drive, as it's really lovely there.

Hi Helen Good point.

Going by the brochure the distance between both, does look a considerable difference.... Do we need any sort of visa... Anyway. I am sure its not as far as it seems. see you soon

Hi Andy,

No we do not need a visa - and yes, I will be going on this excursion too. I am really looking forward to it. I know it seems a long way, but with stops it will be fine. There will be so much to see. It won't be long now until May and we can all get away and have some fun.

See you all at the airport!

Be happy, best wishes,

Lesley

Hi

Have been away with Just You several times and always enjoyed the holidays although at the older end of the age range. Looking forward to going from Gatwick and hope to meet up with some of you there.

Hi Liz,

Yes we will soon be going to Austria. So I will make your acquaintence at Gatwick and it seems we will be quite a merry band. I too have been on a number of JY holidays.

I sent Olly a query because when my documents arrived the excursions were different to what were detailed in the brochure - 2 of the optional ones now appear to be included.

Also originally I was told we could pay for the optional excursions by card when we are there. However, this is not the case (see Olly's reply to my enquiry today)so we have to pay for them prior to going or in cash when we are there.

Looking forward to meeting you at the airport.

Best wishes, be happy.

Hi Lesley

Thanks for your reply. I think I have a later brochure than you as the optional excursions are as stated. Looking forward to meeting up at Gatwick and praying for no more flight problems and good weather.

regards

Liz

I went on this trip last year, the scenery was stunning and the hotel was very nice, I had a lake veiw so was very impressd....when you go out of the hotel a short walk to your right is a very NICE!!! cake and coffee icecream shop, so after being out in the days a group of us would unwind with coffee and cake.mmmmmmm nice. Yes it is a long drive to creshny crumlov sorry on spelling, they have a different currency there ? cant remember but we were able to pay our meal in (is it Euro or Shilling) but do say before you order if you have not got the right currency. There was not anything else I wanted to buy just eat!!so was OK. the trips are good, and we had a local dance troop that came to the hotel which was an amusing night. Greta is fantatsic she really is, she is Australian..But lives out there in Austria with her son. Nice boat trip one evening, one day we didnt go on optional tour we got a local bus and went out and about. Very nice break for the money, just bear in mind there is no lift if its the one I went to and the rooms are on two floors so stairs are walked and cases have to be taken up. Dont think there were hairdryers so make sure you take your own. Enjoy the trip I did.
