Hello Pat I am going on this holiday on Sept 22, it is the first time as a solo traveller so am a little anxious, but judging by the other emails, these holiday really work out.
Italy is very hot at the moment so I am hoping that the temps drop a little bit as the hotel Bazzoni which I am staying in does not have air con, and I don't do well with hot rooms, I think on your date did you have the option to up grade.
However I have stayed on Lake Garda which is beautiful so I have high hopes for Como, I know we are not going the same eweeks but thought I would answer your email anyway
