Hi - after searching for a reputable company who do holidays for single travellers I am delighted to have come across Justyou and have decided my first trip will be the one above as I am a great art lover. At first I was a little dubious - I am 42 and wondered if everyone is much older than me. But I have been reassured by what I've read and am now very excited!! I haven't been abroad since I was 20 and as someone else put it on the site why should being single stop me from seeing what I want to see in the world!! So at last I am taking the plunge and thought this chateau wkd would be a nice little start to get me going. I would love to hear from anyone also going on this weekend or who has been on it.

I'm not going on your trip, but just wanted to say that I did my first JY trip on a long weekend away to Amsterdam last year and had a fantastic time. It was great to discover that, as a newly singleton, I can still go on foreign trips without having to be lonely. The tour guide was fantastic and made sure that you didn't have to be alone if you didn't want to.

Hi Jools - thanks for the reply. Yes I thought a weekend would be a good start but the more I read the happier and more excited I am becoming so I am already looking at the Nile cruise for the end of 2010 as I have always dreamt of seeing the pyramids!

I am just a wee bit older than you, And I have now been on 8 Just You trips, Like you, I discovered this holiday firm by accident.What I can say, is that they do really cater for the single traveller, and they have a wide range of holidays for a, wide range of interests. The age groups are very diverse, But not on any of my holidays have I found age as a problem, The groups I have been with have all got on very well, Monets Gardens, although not been on this trip myself, I have heard it is a lovely place and extremely interesting.And a great trip to start your Just You experience, But I pre warn you, You will get hooked, All the best and happy travelling.
