Hi

I am shortly to go on the above holiday in Turkey. Usually when on a 1 centre holiday I pay for a hotel safe to leave my passport and other valuables into to reduce risk if my bag is stolen. Does anyone know how this will work on this multi-location tour? Do we go from hotel to hotel and visit historical sites from the hotel, or does stuff get left in a bus between hotels while we potter about :dodgy:?

Thanks

Sandra

Hi Sandra,

You will visit many of the sites en-route to the hotels and your bags will be left on the coach whilst you explore (please note the coach will be locked). We would recommend that customers keep valuables like wallets, cameras and passports etc on their person.

It is also worth mentioning that it is a legal requirement in Turkey for you to carry identification at all times whether that is your actual, or a photocopy of, your passport.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Sandra, I did the same trip in May. A great trip. Julia's answer is perfect. Security was never a concern nor a problem. I chose to leave my tiara at home!

Hi Sandra,

I did the New Zealand tour earlier this year. I had a few worries over security, particularly carrying all my money with me. I found using a mediun sized deep organizer bag worked. It has plenty of secure pockets for passport, camera phone and purse. I split my money between three purses, and only kept a small amount at a time in the purse I used for purchases. The other two were safely wedged at the bottom of the bag.
