I've just booked the "Parks & Canyons" holiday from Heathrow on June 6th.

The brochure says the flight from Heathrow to Phoenix will be with United Airlines departing at 13.05.

Checking on both the Heathrow and UA websites I can find no record that this flight actually exists.

I'm a little concerned because I've booked a airport hotel (& parking) the night before as I'm travelling dwn from Yorkshire and didn't fancy doing it on the morning.

Can you confirm flights/airline is correct ?

I think you may have found nothing for that flight because you are actually flying to Denver and then on to Phoenix. So if you search for Heathrow to Denver, you should find it.

As you say, your flight departs at 13.05 on 6 June.

Sorry to go back to my origional question but my confirmation as arrived and confirms what you say that we fly to Denver (13.05) first then on to Phoenix.

However I've checked both the United Airlines and Heathrow websites and neither show a flight direct to Denver which is a little confusing.

I know UA did that route last year because I went via Denver for the Americas Golden West trip but the flight doesn't seem to exist in 2011.

My apologies - you are right. I looked a bit deeper into this and have found that United Airlines have very recently stopped operating the 13.05 service to Denver.

Don't worry though, as there are plenty of services to the US and there will be minimal change to your holiday.

I'm hoping to do the longer one in the future myself looks a great trip. Both holidays finish similar Kanab & Vegas.

Can tell you Vegas is a great way to finish the trip as I did Americas Golden West last year and that trip always finishes there. Stratosphere Hotel is great (but massive) and one tip I can give is if they give you a token for the restaurant for breakfast and its ok to use upto 1pm use it for lunch/brunch (after 11am) you can get a fantastic carvery with it.
